All applicants registering to British Muslim Matchmakers are required to pay a non-refundable joining fee of £100. The fee will cover the members for a period of one year, from the date of registration. After one year has elapsed, from the initial registration date, members will be required to pay £45 per year, to renew their membership. Payment requests are emailed to you using the email address you provided us with on the registration form. We request that payments are made within good time. Failure to pay will result in a hold on their membership and access to services.
All members are required to fill the Registration Form and submit their photo alongside it; if unable to do so, a photo should be given during the 1-2-1 Consultation if possible. All applicants will have a Mini Profile (MP) created for them, based on the information provided in their registration form, 1-2-1 consultation and photo supplied - all of which shall be sent for approval to the candidate before being made available to prospective matches.
If a member does not feel comfortable with their photo being shown to prospective matches in their Summary Profile, members are required to inform British Muslim Matchmakers, and a note will be made on your profile. All candidates will receive a copy of their Registration Form and Summary Profile. Summary Profiles will only be shown to members of British Muslim Matchmakers, and will exclude any personal details. Contact preferences will be noted down and exchanged accordingly between members by British Muslim Matchmakers, if both candidates would like to proceed with the match.
Members who wish to leave the service with no successful match after the year has elapsed are free to leave - all information and photos of the candidate will be destroyed safely and securely. An exit interview may be conducted.
British Muslim Matchmakers retain the right to refuse or terminate a candidates profile, if there are any discrepancies with background checks, harmful/abusive behaviour to any other candidates or members of the service or missing payments.
Please note: the role of British Muslim Matchmakers is help find the candidate a suitable match and provide support during the process. The service can-not be held responsible if a match is unsuccessful, but will ensure to start the process of finding a new match again, if required (providing the candidates membership is still valid). It is up to the candidates themselves to build a relationship with their prospective match, although British Muslim Matchmakers will provide support to individual candidates for any concerns they may have.
